New Zealand's economy is in good form against its international counterparts.

Business New Zealand chief executive Phil O'Reilly says the economy is doing well compared with other international economies.

He says the manufacturing, services and construction sectors are showing significant growth.

Mr O'Reilly adds while the agricultural sector is going through a period of readjustment, following the drop in international diary prices, the long-term outlook is still looking positive.
