Christchurch based outdoor equipment retailer Kathmandu Holdings has lifted first half profit slightly on last year, with strong growth in same-store sales.
It's posted 10 million dollars after tax profit, up 6.4 percent on last year.
Chief executive Xavier Simonet said it's pleasing to exceed last year's first-half net profit, while absorbing about four million of adverse foreign currency impacts in gross margin
Most of the company's 196 million dollar sales are from its Australian market.
It's declared an interim dividend of four cents per share.
