All main political parties will attend a Business Election Conference in Wellington, outlining policies and debating their effects on the economy.
Business NZ Chief Executive Phil O'Reilly says Labour has plenty to gain.
"There's always this language that the Nats are the people who run the economy better and Labour isn't and of course Labour always says no that's not true. There's a great opportunity for the likes of David Cunliffe, David Parker and others who are going to be there to demonstrate that."
