The India New Zealand Business Council is expressing its disappointment in missing the first day of the itinerary of the Prime Minister's delegation to India.
A faulty Defence Force plane left John Key and 80 delegates, including two members of the council, stranded in Townsville, while a replacement aircraft had to be sent from New Zealand.
They've only just touched down in Delhi - having to skip the Mumbai leg of the trip.
India New Zealand Business Council board member Sameer Handa said Mumbai was the business-focussed leg of the trip.
He said all of the business people on the trip - and there's almost 30 of them - are going to be pretty disappointed they missed it.
While on the trip, Prime Minister John Key said he'll be pushing a case for a free trade agreement with the vast country, home to around 1.3 billion people.
Mr Key said the potential for New Zealand in India is immense.
He said India is creating a million jobs a month, and the country's economic growth is among the fastest in the world at 7.5 percent.
