Many Zimbabweans in New Zealand are partying after the fall of their dictator.
Auckland's Bar Africa is packed out with migrants, rejoicing over President Robert Mugabe's resignation.
Organiser Lara Boddington said the former President's regime forced people to flee the country, after state violence and suppression of free speech.
"Sadly it's the case for many Zimbabweans, families all over the world. Some of them don't see their families for years at a time. This is huge for them."
There are about 1500 Zimbabweans in New Zealand.
Boddington said the former President's regime forced many of them out of Zimbabwe to New Zealand in the first place.
Some will consider going back home, but many are here to stay.
"Zimbabwe, Africa, it's always got a special place in our hearts, but for me this is home. I won't be moving back. New Zealand won't be getting rid of me and my family," Boddington said.
