Record numbers of Aucklanders are riding the rails.
A total of 1.56 million trips were taken on the city's trains in March - the highest ever figure.
The numbers have encouraged Auckland Transport to speed up the rollout of the new electric trains.
They'll be operating on every service by the end of July - apart from the Pukekohe shuttle, which will continue to be served by 30-year-old diesel trains.
There were 8.4 million trips across all public transport in Auckland last month - a million more than last March.
