Power has been restored to nearly 1500 houses in Auckland's eastern suburbs.
The outage impacted households in Glen Innes and Glendowie.
While Vector was expecting it to take until 8pm to get all homes back on the grid, a spokesperson says power was restored to everyone by 6.30pm.
