Auckland's mayor is cashing in on the city's booming property market.

Len Brown's bushy Manukau mansion is up for sale, with a price tag of 1.75-million dollars.

It includes a landscaped garden, an in-ground pool and walking tracks through lush bush.

Agent Paul Barrett says the house is too big for the Browns.

The mayor won't comment on the sale...his wife saying he's too busy decorating the Christmas tree.
