Auckland's newest upmarket dining precinct will have one major point of difference.
Prospective urban European eateries are being invited to a precinct in the old BNZ building on Queen Street which is due to open later this year.
Bayleys agent Leah La Hood says the building will redeveloped into a little spot of Europe in central Auckland.
"It's a bit more urban with European street styles, lots of taking it back to the raw concrete and brick and adding recycled woods."
Leah La Hood says the building will retain its historic 1867 facade.
She says the original building included "plate glass for the windows, a hundred tonnes of Tasmanian sandstone from Hobart, and a footpath of polished yorkstone."
