Flyhidrate for First-class Well-being

Due to New Zealand’s geographical location, nobody understands how debilitating and exhausting long-haul flying can be better than the average Kiwi.

FLYHIDRATE employs a 3 unique beverage-system focusing on the 3 principle stresses and effects of long distance flying: dehydration, radiation exposure and poor circulation.

There are 3 beverages attached with FlyHidrate. The first you drink when you take off “Boarding Pass” the second you drink mid flight “Cruise Control” and the third & final drink “Landing Gear” you drink before you land.

Our FlyHidrate team has significant links to the airline industry which enabled us to gather the relevant data, we then brought in well known nutritionist, Nikki Hart, to the team to gauge if we could develop a solution using natural, safe yet effective ingredients.
A short-list of ingredients was compiled in 2009 and then added to and analysed over the following 12 months using published data from both in-vivo and in-vitro studies.

There followed 18 months of research by teams at the School of Physical Education and Departments of Human Nutrition and Food Science at The University of Otago. The New Zealand Ministry of Science and Innovation co-funded FLYHIDRATE Ltd’s research and development since it commenced.

Feedback from passenger trials has been extremely positive, and we believe we succeeded in creating great tasting beverages with a unique innovative delivery system that really helps long distance travelers.

FlyHidrate is now exclusively available at the Relay stores after customs at Auckland International Airport.
