By: Guy Heveldt | Latest Yachting News | Wednesday May 9 2012 11:00

Team New Zealand's Camper has taken a further three nautical miles off the lead of Puma Ocean Racing in the latest update on leg six of the Volvo Ocean Race.

Camper is now just eight nautical miles behind the American entry who leads with just over 200 nautical miles until port in Miami.

The New Zealand-entry is travelling two knots faster than their rivals.

Groupama's failing to make any in-roads back in third, they're 67 nautical miles off the lead.
