Kean misses out on finals spot

Gareth Kean has missed out on a spot in the final of the 100 metres backstroke at the Olympic Games.

Kean's finished last in his semifinal in a time of 54 seconds.

His personal best, half a second faster, would've easily got him into the medal race.
