Confidence a Kiwi boxer will go to Olympics

| Other Sport News | Wednesday May 9 2012 13:18

Boxing New Zealand's adamant a Kiwi fighter will make it to this year's London Olympics.

Three women will aim to qualify for the Games at the world championships beginning in China today.

Chairman John McKay believes Alexis Pritchard has a good chance of qualifying in the lightweight class.

He says a dark horse may come from Hurricane Doyle in the middleweight.

The other boxer looking to qualify is flyweight Siona Fernandez.
