Goalkeeper sent home for alcohol breach

| Latest Football News | Thursday March 29 2012 17:37

Sydney FC's buildup to tomorrow night's A-League elimination final against the Phoenix in Wellington has been dented after sending goalkeeper Liam Reddy home for an alcohol breach.

Reddy has been ordered back to Australia after it become clear he had been drinking alcohol on the team's flight to the Capital last night.

He'll be served a breach notice under the A-League disciplinary procedure and is unlikely to figure in the rest of the finals series.

Reddy is the side's back up keeper and previously spent a season at the Wellington Phoenix in 2009.
