Shand doesn't expect Vito to play this weekend

By: Elliott Smith | Latest Rugby News | Tuesday June 12 2012 9:09

All Blacks flanker Victor Vito has all but been ruled out of this weekend's second test against Ireland.

Vito sustained a medial ligament injury in his right knee following the first-up demolition of the tourists at Eden Park.

Team manager Darren Shand's told Radio Sport's Rikki Swannell that he doesn't expect Vito to line up and doesn't think he'll be playing this week.

Coach Steve Hansen is expected to confirm the news later today.
