Swifts defeat Pulse in Sydney

| Latest Netball News | Sunday May 6 2012 16:28

The New South Wales Swifts have beaten the Central Pulse 39-36 in their ANZ Championship match in Sydney.

The Swifts led from start to finish, though the Pulse fought back in the second half after trailing by nine at half time.

Meanwhile Northern Mystics coach Debbie Fuller says this afternoon's grand final rematch against the Queensland Firebirds is vital for their season.

"We need to take a win like this to break through to another level of confidence in the group so that's why we are really pushing our performance and our processes this week and the girls have talked about preparing really well."

Centre pass is at 4:20pm over on the Gold Coast, with the Magic hosting the West Coast Fever at 7:20pm tonight.
