Cameron's future with Gold Coast up in the air

Pero Cameron is nervously awaiting information on the future of the Gold Coast Blaze.

The Tall Blacks assistant has a contract with the Blaze for the next Australian basketball league season.

But that's in doubt with the Blaze entering voluntary administration.

"For myself you might start looking at other opportunities. It's looking like it's going to go this way or go sour but you know, that's life."

Cameron got the news about the Blaze on the same day as being confirmed as the Tall Blacks assistant for this year's Olympic qualifying campaign.

Cameron and Paul Henare will assist head coach Nenad Vucinic.
