The girls' mother Phillippa Morehu, and two others Haki Davey, and Hetaraka Reihana are all facing two counts of manslaughter after two daughters of Phillippa Morehu died. In court today, both Morehu and Davey entered not guilty pleas. Reihana, who received a warning for turning up late to court, is expected to enter a plea at the next hearing. All defendants have been remanded on bail, and are next set to reappear on the 31st of May. Photo: NZ Herald |
