By: Newstalk ZB staff | Upper North Island News | Tuesday April 17 2012 13:57

Two of the three charged over the Christmas day fatal crash in Welcome Bay near Tauranga today entered pleas in the High Court of Rotorua.

The girls' mother Phillippa Morehu, and two others Haki Davey, and Hetaraka Reihana are all facing two counts of manslaughter after two daughters of Phillippa Morehu died.

In court today, both Morehu and Davey entered not guilty pleas.

Reihana, who received a warning for turning up late to court, is expected to enter a plea at the next hearing.

All defendants have been remanded on bail, and are next set to reappear on the 31st of May.
