Gwaze trial enters third week

By: Jacob Brown | Latest Christchurch News | Monday May 14 2012 5:08

The High Court trial of 60-year-old George Gwaze enters its third week in Christchurch this morning.

The Zimbabwean immigrant is charged with the 2007 sexual violation and murder of his adopted daughter Charlene Makaza.

His defence argues she died because of toxic shock caused by her HIV infection.

The court's already heard from a range of witnesses, dozens more will be called over the next two weeks.
