PM to attend Carterton balloon service

By: Tim Dower | New Zealand News | Sunday March 4 2012 6:08

The Prime Minister and the Governor General will be at a civic service for the victims of the Carterton balloon crash today.

It's being held to commemorate the eleven people who died, when a hot air balloon plummeted to the ground in January.

Local emergency workers and family members of those who died are also expected to attend.
