Winter's first real cold snap is expected to arrive over the next couple of days. MetService is warning of a dramatic temperature change when an active front moves onto the country from the Southern Ocean. Meteorologist Daniel Corbett says the cold snap won't last too long, and less cold air will come in by midweek. Mr Corbett says Fiordland, Southland and Otago are likely to experience the windiest, coldest conditions. Photo: NZ Herald |
