Three missing off New Plymouth coast

Three people are missing in rough seas off the coast of New Plymouth.

They are part of a group that was rock climbing at Paritutu Rock, near New Plymouth's Back Beach.

Police say several people have been rescued.

Rescue boats and commercial fishing vessels are searching for those missing.
