Dotcom's wife speaks of distress

By: Newstalk ZB staff | New Zealand News | Sunday March 11 2012 7:41

Kim Dotcom's wife has revealed the distress she and her children suffered during a police raid on their home.

The Herald on Sunday reports Mona Dotcom wrote to the court pleading for the Megaupload's founder to be let out on bail, after he was charged with copyright violation.

Kim and Mona Dotcom have three children between 19 months and four years old, and are expecting twins this month.

Mona Dotcom says during a raid in January, police told her to stand outside on the wet grass and kept her under armed guard for an hour, despite the fact she was pregnant and in nightclothes.

She says her nannies and children are still nervous and upset after the events of that day.

Mona Dotcom's credit cards have been seized, meaning there's no money to pay the nannies and they'll have to leave.
