South Korea world's biggest cosmetic surgery market

The United States may be deemed the home of plastic surgery but it's South Korea which has the world's biggest market for cosmetic procedures.

The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery says per capita, South Korea leads the way with 20 percent of women in Seoul aged between 19 and 49 undergoing the knife.

The Daily Mail reports double eyelid surgery is the most popular procedure followed by lipo-plasty - which uses high-frequency sound waves to eliminate fat, and nose jobs.
