Train's song used on anti-gay marriage website

By: Newstalk ZB staff | Entertainment News | Monday July 30 2012 9:43

The San Francisco-based band Train wants one of its songs taken off an anti-gay marriage website.

Lobby group Family First today launched the 'Protect Marriage' site, in response to Labour MP Louisa Wall's Marriage Equality Bill.

It features news articles and resources about marriage and has a clip of the Train song 'Marry Me' on it.

Twitter users have alerted the band to that, asking them why they were allowing one of their songs on the site.

A member of the band responded that they didn't know and were getting it off ASAP.
