Neighbours shocked over suspicious death

By: Jacqui Stanford | Latest Crime News | Sunday July 1 2012 6:42

Neighbours have been left shocked at the suspicious death of a man in his south Auckland home.

The 59-year-old could not be resuscitated by police who responded to reports of a disorder at the house on Primrose Place in Manurewa in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Neighbours say they heard shouting and commotion from the property before police arrived.

One neighbour, Fili, says the residents of the house are a good family.

"I love them, they are very good, very good people. They go to church."

Fili says the victim was a father and a good man, who will be missed.
