Reoffender gets three years prison

By: Sophie Lowery | Latest Crime News | Friday June 22 2012 15:39

A Hawke's Bay man, who's been jailed once for shooting a rival gang leader, will now go back to prison for drug offences.

Luke Needham has today been sentenced to three years for possessing methamphetamine and cannabis for supply.

The Outlaws biker has already done 10 years for murder, after gunning-down Black Power leader Robert Te Rure in 1993.

Judge Bridget Macintosh says Needham became involved in the sale of drugs to fund his own addiction.
