Douglas Pharmaceuticals may be for sale

By: Nina Burton | Business News | Friday August 3 2012 12:44

Douglas Pharmaceuticals may be up for sale.

Sir Graham Douglas founded the company in 1967.

Business Correspondent Roger Kerr says rumours are circulating the medicine company is up for sale, though Sir Graham is denying this.

He says it could be sold to the Canadians.

"Apparently an information memorandum on the company is circulating, and market rumours are that Sir Graham is in talks with a Canadian company Valeant Pharmaceuticals International."

Roger Kerr says Sir Graham still works in the company full time.
