A couple of vital days lie ahead for Camper-Team New Zealand on leg six of the Volvo Ocean Race. Camper is vying for the lead with Puma Ocean Racing, with 1300 nautical miles remaining until the finish in Miami. After covering 500 miles every 24 hours in recent days, the fleet is now slowing to a speed of around 15 knots. Trimmer Rob Salthouse says they're expecting a low to bring breeze, but before that it's going to be very light and fickle. "It's going to be a really tricky 48 hours, to set ourselves up for the next lot of pressure that comes in, and hopefully we do that right. We've got the boat for those conditions, we just have to see how it pans out." Overall race leader, Team Telefonica is third, a further 10 nautical miles back.
