Andy Murray has won a an incredible third round match against Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis at Wimbledon. The pair went toe-to-toe for the first three sets, each nearly going for an hour. Murray won the first 7-5 before Baghdatis fought hard for a 6-3 win in the second. The fourth seeded Great British hope then won an intense third set before cruising to a 6-1 in the fourth to win a brilliant match. Meanwhile, Croatian 16th seed Marin Cilic has won the second longest match in the Grand Slam's history, beating Sam Querrey in five sets in five and a half hours. It's well short of the infamous 11 hour match between John Isner and Nicolas Mahut in 2010. Photo: Andy Murray (Getty Images) |
