Roger Federer is feeling good as he attempts to win Olympic gold in the men's singles at the Wimbledon tennis centre. The Swiss world number one easily accounted for Uzbekistan's Denis Istomin 7-5, 6-3 in the third round this morning. Federer says all is going well. "Overall I'm feeling good, it's obviously a whole different feeling out there because it is the Olympic Games. Best of three set tennis is very fast, there is no room for error." Federer and Swiss partner Stanislas Wawrinka were knocked out of the double however - beaten by Israel in three sets. Photo: Getty Images |
