Marina Erakovic out of ASB Classic

New Zealand's Marina Erakovic is out of the ASB Tennis Classic.

Erakovic has been beaten 6-1, 7-6 by American Jamie Hampton despite staging a fightback of sorts in the second set.

Hampton says she's glad she got to play Erakovic.

"We have a feel for each other's game, and she showed it in the second set."
