Nadal in doubt for US Tennis Open

Rafael Nadal is in doubt for the US Tennis Open later this month.

The Spaniard has withdrawn from next week's Cincinnati Masters due to his continuing knee injury.

The event, the last major tune up before the US Open, is the third straight tournament pullout for Nadal who hasn't played since losing in the second round of Wimbledon in June.
