Triathletes claim top ten finishes in San Diego

By: Elliott Smith | Other Sport News | Sunday May 13 2012 11:53

New Zealand's London-bound male triathletes have all claimed top ten finishes at the latest ITU World Series event in San Diego.

Ryan Sissons was the first home in sixth, 35 seconds off British winner Jonathan Brownlee while Bevan Docherty claimed eighth spot, a further eight seconds behind.

Kris Gemmell rounded out the top ten.

The win increases New Zealand's chances of taking all three athletes to the London games, keeping them inside the top eight in the team rankings.
