Personal best for Cowley in javelin event

Kiwi Sarah Cowley's posted a personal best in the penultimate event of the heptathlon at the London Olympics.

Cowley's thrown 41.90m in the javelin to take 704 points from the event.

She sits in 29th overall with the final event of the card, the 800m to come later this morning.
