There have been a couple of notable withdrawals from the Olympics. British runner Paula Radcliffe and Australian cyclist Cadel Evans have pulled out of their upcoming events. Radcliffe has failed to overcome a foot injury and has ruled out of this week's women's marathon, ending her quest for an elusive gold medal. Evans has been deemed too fatigued to compete in the menâ s time trial, after lining up in the road race and Tour de France. Photo: Cadel Evans (Getty Images) |
