Dawson eliminated from Slalom event

New Zealand white water kayaker Mike Dawson has finished last in his semi-final to be eliminated from his K1 Canoe Slalom event.

Dawson missed a gate along the course and incurred a 100sec time penalty to finish 15th with 207.63.

It's a score that is 50sec higher than his nearest rival from Ireland who finished 14th.
