By: Nick Walker | Other Sport News | Tuesday October 23 2012 17:06

The San Francisco Giants have completed a remarkable turnaround to earn the right to meet the Detroit Tigers in baseball's World Series.

After being just one game away from being knocked out of the National League Championship, the Giants have won three in a row to beat the St Louis Cardinals 4-3 in the best of seven series.

San Francisco have won game seven 9-nil, on the back of a five run third inning.
