New Zealand javelin thrower Stuart Farquhar is in career-best form three months out from the London Olympics. He's beaten his personal best by almost a metre with a thrown of 86.31 metres at a meeting in Japan. The throw is the biggest by anyone in 2012 and would have ranked him sixth in the world last year. Stuart Farquhar has already been selected for the London Games. Photo: Stuart Farquhar in March 2012 (Getty Images) |
