Badminton players could face disciplinary action

By: Juliette Sivertsen | Other Sport News | Wednesday August 1 2012 22:14

Eight Badminton players at the Olympics could face disciplinary action for not trying hard enough.

The players - from South Korea, China and Indonesia, face being charged with misconduct because they appeared to deliberately concede points.

It's thought they were trying to manipulate the final standings.

The longest rally in one of the matches lasted just four shots - prompting a warning from the referee.

A review panel is set to investigate.
