The New Zealand men's lightweight four has coasted through to the final at the last chance Olympic qualifying regatta in Lucerne. The quartet's comfortably finished second in their repechage to advance to the six-boat decider. Crew member Duncan Grant has told Radio Sport's Rikki Swannell they did what they needed to. "We just wanted to go down and have a good race and work on a few different changes to our race plan compared to the one that we had in the heat." They have to finish in the top two tomorrow morning to qualify for London. |
