Sportswoman of the Year finalist Jo Edwards is refusing to think too much about winning the top sportswoman gong at tonight's Halberg Awards in Auckland.
The Nelson bowler faces stiff competition from shotputter Valerie Adams, canoeist Lisa Carrington and triathlete Andrea Hewitt for the honour.
She says the night for her isn't about the award but about the occasion and the Halberg Trust's work.
All Blacks players and staff are favoured to pick up several awards at the ceremony, with nominees in sportsman, coach and team of the year categories.
