Boxing: Pacquiao to do his bit for the Philippines

Manny Pacquiao is doing his bit for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines - sort of.

Pacquiao has decided the best way to bring inspiration and hope to his fellow countrymen is to win his comeback fight against Brandon Rios in Macau later this month.

With that in mind, he has ruled out a visit to the areas most devastated by the typhoon and is focusing on his training.

In a statement, Pacquiao says he really wants to visit the area and personally do what he can to help his countrymen, but he's in deep training for a crucial fight so he regrets he cannot go.
