Good start for kiwis in Giro d'Italia

A very respectable start to the Giro d'Italia for both the Kiwis in the peleton.

Jesse Sergent's finished in the top 10 after the opening stage 8.7 individual time-trial around the streets of Herning in Denmark.

Sergent's finished 26 seconds back from stage winner America's Taylor Phinney.

Fellow Kiwi Jack Bauer finished 28 seconds back in 14th.
