Carrington ponders life after win

| Other Sport News | Monday August 13 2012 7:50

Lisa Carrington is expecting life to be a little different now she has an Olympic gold medal around her neck.

After a whirlwind 24 hours, Carrington says she still hasn't really come to grips with how things might be about to change.

"I'm not sure, I think it's important to have a really good support network around me, and we've established that in the last few years. Everyone keeps me well grounded which is great.

"People have been telling me it will change my life, I'm hoping not too much, I like how it is."

Carrington says she's already heard people talking about her as the new "Beef and Lamb" girl, but has no idea why.
