Cycling: UCI rejects colluding over doping

Cycling's world governing body has strongly rejected claims they had contributed nothing to the fight against doping in the sport.

Head of the the US Anti-Doping Agency Travis Tygart has told a French Senate hearing that the International Cycling Union had blocked efforts to clean up the tarnished sport since the Lance Armstrong scandal broke last year.

But the UCI categorically rejects allegations of collusion and states it has nothing to hide.
