The women's Black Sticks have been beaten 3-1 by Australia in their Four Nations test in North Harbour. The visitors opened the scoring just before half time, before Katie Glynn equalised for the Kiwis almost straight away from a penalty corner. Neither side were able to add to the score for much of the second half, before Australia came up with two late goals to secure the match. The loss gives the Kiwis a win and a loss to start the tournament, ahead of their third game against the USA on Sunday. Photo: Photosport |
