New Zealand's Olympic champion men's rowing pair has scooped the major prize in New Zealand sport. Eric Murray and Hamish Bond have been named supreme winners at the Halberg Awards dinner at Vector Arena, in downtown Auckland. They've also scooped the Team of the Year gong. Valerie Adams has won the hotly contested Sportswoman of the Year category, while Mahe Drysdale has been named New Zealand's Sportsman of 2012, and his mentor Dick Tonks has claimed the Coach of the Year prize. Lydia Ko has claimed the Emerging Talent Award and Sophie Pascoe has been named the Disabled Sportsperson of the Year.
