Bronze for Uru and Taylor

By: Elliott Smith | Other Sport News | Saturday August 4 2012 23:35

New Zealand has won it's fourth bronze medal of the London Olympics.

Storm Uru and Peter Taylor have finished third in their lightweight men's double sculls final at Eton Dorney, three seconds off the eventual winners.

Denmark's crew of Mads Rasmussen and Rasmus Quist reeled in the fancied British crew over the final 1500m to take gold.

Earlier, Great Britain's Zac Purchase and Mark Hunter forced a restart of the race when they had mechanical issues in the opening stages.
