Boxing: Parker's next opponent unlikely to be a Kiwi

Joseph Parker's next opponent is unlikely to be a high profile Kiwi.

Sonny Bill Williams has been touted as a potential opponent, while veteran New Zealand heavyweight Shane Cameron has also been mentioned as a contender.

However, promoter Dean Lonergan says Williams wouldn't be allowed to by his management, while Parker's too green for Cameron.

Lonergan says they won't rush into choosing their next opponent.

He says they have a lot of options from around the world, so they'll talk to trainer Kevin Barry about who the best option will be.

Dean Lonergan says Parker's formed a very strong relationship with Barry over the last eight weeks.
